The tapered steel pipe has an outer diameter ranging from 60mm to 450mm, with a thickness of 6mm to 40mm and a length of 8 meters. Cone shaped steel pipes are mostly customized for processing, so if customers need to indicate the large head diameter, small head diameter, thickness, length, material, and quantity.

Cone shaped steel pipe refers to a cone-shaped hollow circular pipe made of steel plate as raw material and processed by equipment to produce steel plates with different diameters at both ends. It has a weld seam in the middle and a smooth and flat surface, abbreviated as welded cone pipe.

Manufacturing process of conical steel pipe: The upper part of the column top support adopts conical transition steel pipe. Due to its small size and high processing difficulty, it is proposed to use cold pressing method for manufacturing. During processing, it is divided into two stages of pressing, and then welded during rolling.

Due to the thick wall thickness of the cone tube, the elongation of the steel plate changes during the compression process, which directly leads to a larger diameter of the cone after processing. Therefore, measures need to be taken to prevent this before processing. Based on our previous experience in similar projects, the circumference of the steel pipe will increase by about 10-15mm after compression. Therefore, the diameter of the steel pipe should be reduced by 2-3mm before processing and unfolded for cutting.
