Production process of straight seam welded pipe

Steel plate inspection: Conduct full-plate ultrasonic inspection on steel plates used to manufacture straight seam welded steel pipes.

Steel plate inspection: Conduct full-plate ultrasonic inspection on steel plates used to manufacture straight seam welded steel pipes.
Cutting: The edges of both sides of the steel plate are milled by a milling machine to achieve the required width of the steel plate, as well as the parallelism of the plate edges and the shape of the groove.
Pre-bending: Use a pre-bending machine to pre-bend the plate edges to meet the curvature requirements. For thicker plates, a press machine can be used for pre-bending.
Forming: On the forming machine, first, half of the pre-bent steel plate undergoes multiple rolling processes to shape it into a "J" form. Subsequently, the other half of the steel plate undergoes similar operations to form a "C" shape. Finally, an open "O" shape is produced.
Pre-welding: After forming, the straight seam welded steel pipes are joined together and continuously welded using gas shielded welding.
Internal and external welding: Longitudinal multi-wire submerged arc welding is used for welding on both the inside and outside of straight seam welded steel pipes.
Trimming: Trim the entire welded steel pipe to ensure the precise dimensions required by the customer, and improve the distribution of internal stress within the steel pipe.
Inspection: According to customer requirements, we conduct ultrasonic inspection, X-ray inspection, hydrostatic testing, and other inspections on straight seam welded steel pipes. Additionally, we can perform anti-corrosion and coating treatments.
